Last night the City Commission had a short meeting before the Thanksgiving Holiday.
The honorable Mayor Bob Kelly made a declaration for Small Business Saturday to Kellie Pierce with the downtown association and noted the beautiful tree that they had acquired to be lit by the city.
We caught a glimpse of the tree being erected earlier this week as well as stuck in traffic.
Jeni Dodd addressed the commission and noted an item that needs action. 6 of the ARPA recipients did not have valid tax ID numbers. More to come on this when we get more information from Jeni Dodd and the city.
The city tabled item 12 on the agenda: The 2023 CDBG & Home Ammended Annual Action plan public hearing.
This matter will be heard by the commission at the next meeting on 12-5 at 7pm.
