Folks,
Below is the link to the County Commissioner “special meeting” held on 12/15. The meeting agenda had planned to establish an interim Election Administrator. Please take a listen and hear for yourself all the revelations of mishaps of the “plan” that the local news left out. https://www.cascadecountymt.gov/ArchiveCenter/ViewFile/Item/576
The meeting revealed they had no plan to accommodate “we the people” without an Elections Administrator. The quick and thoughtless removal of the Election Administrator by Briggs and Larson has left our elections office without full capabilities.
Importantly, E.A. offices statewide are in the middle of mapping our new districts. Our current staff is trained in this area. They attended training in August and no surprise was criticized for going to training by the Voter Selection (Protection) committee. No one outside of the current staff is trained on this new redistricting.
Please listen to the meeting. It reveals real financial issues in our county. Joe Briggs (self-appointed CFO) admits he has been holding contingency money in the budget. Usually that amount is 100k, but 2024’s budget is holding 165K. Budget was completed in September. Hmm?? Is 65k for the new Election administrator?
In my opinion, it proves once again they (Briggs, Larson, and the election selection committee) have been playing the long game for quite a while. It would be funny listening to the clown show if it did not have such devastating affects to our community.
NEVER FORGET THEY STOLE YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE!
