PUBLIC LIBRARY DUMPSTERS FULL OF BOOKS

There is a new type of viral post in the Electric city from yesterday. This was a controversial picture of the dumpsters of the Great Falls Public library full of books.

There are many posts going around the internet about this, but essentially a poster had posted that there are free books behind the library in the dumpsters for all to come and pick and choose through.
However this has escalated to the community being in an uproar.
This caught the eye of our partners in reporting : E-City Beat : Books In Great Falls Public Library Dumpsters – E-City Beat✓ (ecitybeat.com)
We asked a few questions of the library on the posts we found.

We did ask what was going on and this was the response.

Yet the response from the community to this post as it went viral has not been well received.

Commissioner Tryon’s personal page posted this story and has received a lot of comments.

It seems to this reporter that the library will in the future give it some thought before letting anyone throw books away in their dumpsters and will the public ever pass another levy? Or will they reference news stories like this one.
